Our curriculum

The CPS curriculum sets a global standard for education, and is recognised by CBSE. The curriculum is flexible, challenging and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach. Cambridge students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success in their future careers. Cambridge uses internationally benchmarked tests, giving parents extra trust in the feedback they receive. The programme at CPS develops young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. At each stage, students build on their previous learning – and our syllabus design reflects a ‘spiral’ approach, providing a natural progression throughout the years and beyond. The popularity of our curriculum has been steadily increasing among parents because we offer students several advantages.

Our ‘curriculum’ has all the planned activities that has been organised in order to promote learning , personal growth and development.

It includes not only the formal requirements of the Foundation Stage but also the range of extra-curricular activities that the school organises in order to enrich the experience of our pupils.

The House System and its Objectives

Each house has a House Incharge and sub in charges to whom a student may turn for assistance at any time. All students from class I and above are placed in the four houses and all activities academic, co-curricular and inter mural, are based on inter-house competitions.

The house system has been devised to promote team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school. Also, this enables the senior students of the school to provide care and direction to their junior schoolmates. The House System provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support. Aided by dedicated staff members, and house captains, it is a remarkable medium for enabling students of different ages to bond together and operate as a cohesive family. Houses are a common and successful way of building a superb school community and spirit. The Houses compete in different sports, cultural, and academic competitions, and provide an excellent way to synergize pupils of different classes and ages, all of whom have a common goal and purpose.

You step into CPS, and it becomes yours. I feel immensely proud to state that my school is one of the best schools in the city. Apart from a keen focus on studies, my school provides a platform for the students to explore various performing arts and sports activities. Interschool competitions, field trips, camps, and clubs help students to develop confidence, team work and responsibility. With 100% participation, all students can display their innate talent.
